Disaster Cat was born in California and lived in Several US States before returning to California and then marrying her husband and moving to Europe where they lived in England and Sweden before settling down in rural Ireland.
Her hobbies include spinning, weaving, sewing, cooking, The Society for Creative Anachronism, Reading, Current Events, Homesteading, Cats, Folk Harp and the Bardic Arts.
She lives in a 200 year old rectory with her husband, their business partner, two elk-hounds, 2 Icelandic, Horses, A weaving Studio, Spinning Wheels and many, many cats (about 10).
When not weaving or puttering about the house, she can often be found merchanting as The Viking Lady Trader, either on line or at various events.
Meanwhile, she tries to keep up with a couple of web blogs as well as moderating crafts areas and contributing to various forums around the net.
